GAS HOT WATER ISSUES - FAQS
Having issue with your gas hot water system or heater ?See some common problems and tips to assist.
Q. No hot water ?
A. Has the pilot light gone out , check the manufacturers instructions
Q. High gas bills ?
A. Is there a gas leak, is your current water gas heater energy star rated or an older version



COMMON ELECTRIC HOT WATER ISSUES
Q. Is your hot water system leaking ?
A. Might be faulty valve or ruptured tank, give us a call.
Q. No hot water ?
A. Might be a power issue or an airlock, there should be release valve on Saxon hot water systems, system may need a replacement element or thermostat. Is there a timer on the power.
Q. Low hot water pressure ?
A. Galvanised pipe work may need upgrading, faulty or blocked valves
Q.Running out of hot water ?
A. May need a larger hot water system tank, relief valve on Saxon may need to be released
Q. Water is too hot?
A. Current install may not have a tempering valve or need replacement, regulations stiplulate water temp should be 50 degrees.
