ELECTRIC HOT WATER TARIFF INCENTIVES
The Energex Hot Water Rewards scheme provides a rebate of up to $200 to eligible South East Queensland households that connect an electric hot water system to an off-peak electricity tariff.
Households benefit by accessing the savings of a cheaper electricity rate as well as helping to reduce peak electricity demand.
SOLAR & HEAT PUMP REBATES
tThere are still rabtes and governement incentives for the installation of solar hot water heaters and heat pumps. STC's or Small-scale technology certificates can be created following the installation of an eligible system, and are calculated by the amount of electricity a system produces or displaces.
